Exploring mission

Is God calling you to mission?

Whether you’re just curious about what mission might involve, or you are already preparing to be a missionary, here are some opportunities you might consider.

Mentac (Mentoring Across Cultures)

Learn new skills and be mentored for cross-cultural ministry with MentAC! This is an in-depth curriculum including cross-cultural ministry training and one-to-one mentoring. Become a MentAC trainee and be better equipped for cross-cultural work.

Seriously Interested In Mission (SIIM) groups

Reflect and share questions with a community of like-minded Christians who are also considering long-term cross-cultural gospel work. Meet up for a meal 4-6 times a year to share questions, concerns and encouragements about faith, mission and cross-cultural work.

Go! Explore Indonesia

Go! Explore trips are a great way to get exposed to mission, investigate what mission looks like in a different part of the world, and consider what your role in this mission might be. Typically they are 3-4 week trips, working with a team in a location overseas alongside gospel workers. Our next trip is to Indonesia in the winter of 2018!

Missions Interlink Short-term Training (MIST)

This weekend course introduces some of the significant issues relating to life, work and Christian faith as a short-termer serving in a cross-cultural setting. This course is facilitated by experienced mission workers drawn from a variety of organisations and situations.
