Pray with David & Jenny Juniper that they will have a joyful and fruitful last few weeks of Home Assignment. Pray for an encouraging time at CMS Missionary Conference in Katoomba. Give thanks with Michael & Jean Burke for opportunities to train health workers to share Jesus in their workplace, and for teaching undergraduate nursing students (Jean) and postgraduate medical students (Michael).

Give thanks with Andrew & Margaret Newman for the opportunity to visit family in Australia early next month. Pray that the Thanksgiving/Fundraising day will honour Jesus and celebrate God’s work in the College. Give thanks with Adam & Avril Friend for all God has taught the 30 graduating students, and pray for godliness and gospel hearts in their transition into full time ministry. Pray with Ryan & Lynne Verghese for a smooth election of the new Bishop. Pray that he will help bring unity and order to the Diocese.

Pray with M that she will have good connections with people in remote villages and opportunities to practice language. Praise God with Anna Radkovic for visiting family. Pray for Watamu during the low tourist season as money becomes tighter for people.Pray with Anthony & Trudi Elyard for the ongoing conflict in the north, which has greatly impacted the Kale Heywet Church with kidnappings, persecution and bombings. Give thanks for new opportunities, wisdom and guidance with the changing direction and preparation for another Bible college in the south. Pray with Co-Mission Partners Anwar Berhe & Tsigereda Atankir for the ‘Love and Mercy’ team as they strive to serve the physical and spiritual needs of single mothers and people in prison near their church.

Give thanks with Malcolm & Ainsley Purdey for the partnership, care and support that they continue to receive from Australia. Pray with Chris & Stef Overhall that they will be intentional and useful as they settle back into ministry in Chile, and for a good start for the kids as they settle back into school in Chile. Pray also for the ‘Promise to Fulfilment’ course, that many students will enrol and learn how to use biblical theology as they read the Scriptures. Give thanks with Adrian & Anita Lovell for those studying in Santa Cruz. Pray that the first MOCLAM subject would help them understand that Jesus is at the centre of the Scriptures. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Álex (and Karina) Córdova Morales for the interest of many people in forming a team to serve in their new church congregation, which will begin next year. Give thanks with CoMPs Andrés & Annika Ruiz Caro for committed church members at Iglesia Santiago Apostol. Ask God to bring more people into his kingdom and their church, especially those who feel lonely and forgotten.

Give thanks with Martin & Julie Field for generous local supporters who have enabled Año Puente students to access the program. Pray with Amy Stephens for edifying connections as she visits her link churches, and for focus and strength as she finishes her studies. Pray with Peter & Terry Blowes for those who are still unsure of their faith in Christ—that they will give over control of their lives to him. Thank God with Pedro & Joy Oliveira Woolmer for ongoing opportunities to share God’s Word with non-Christian friends in Uruguay. Pray that God would open the eyes of their friends R, S, J and R to see who Jesus is, and put their trust in him. Pray with Nick & Kysha Davies that God would continue to grow and equip church leaders in Peru. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partners Bryan & Sarah Haro Leon for the encouraging growth of Sarah’s mums group, and that there has been more consistency in the online Bible studies.

Pray for confidence for Tom, Beth and Harry as they also learn Daakaka and make friends. Pray with Keith & Marion Birchley for PNG students as they seek to organise a Bible Summit. Give thanks for the opportunity to visit Brisbane, Toowoomba and North Queensland churches, and pray for continued energy. Pray with Josh & Steph Mackenzie for a good recovery from Josh’s surgery, and their transition back to location. Pray for the churches on Groote Eylandt—that God would continue to grow people’s giftings and courage for them to use their gifts in the body of Christ. Praise God with Geoff & Hannah Harper for the dry season weather! Pray for safety as remote Christians move more freely around the Top End roads.

SAH: Pray for an encouraging graduation celebration for our new missionaries at SAH. Pray with Dan & Erina Sawyer, Ned Gifford, Lachie & Zaneta Neal, Tony Nguyen & Yenli Taniwan, Stephanie Hawkins, J & A, Grant & Alison Gallant and Co-Mission Partner (Branch)  Yumin that they will finish their studies at SAH well. Pray for good deputation preparation and encouraging partnerships with supporters. Mentac: Pray that apprentice An would find two Muslim women to meet up with regularly to share stories from Scripture. Give thanks with apprentice Al for opportunities to share Bible stories with some Muslim women over Easter! Across Cultures: Thank God for the Cultural Awareness Training Day in May. Pray for fruit in the participant’s lives as they seek to connect more deeply with people from other cultures and find bridges for gospel sharing.

Pray with D & T for parents and counsellors attending T’s eight-week course on raising teens in distress to listen well, understand, apply and see restored relationships. Pray with L for God to reveal himself to unreached people in Asia. Pray with Lachlan & Candy Grice for their eldest son Beau—that as he navigates so much change in his young life, he would learn to turn to God for comfort, stability, peace, and hope. Ask God to give Lachlan & Candy grace to parent him well through this big transition as they begin life in Taiwan. Pray with Sam & Shan-Shan Chrisp as they return to Australia in mid-June for a short Home Assignment. Pray they will leave Taiwan well and manage the transition well with their kids.

Give thanks with Kellie Nicholas for the many international students who are studying in Kansai this year. Pray that KGK will be able to support the Christians well and share the gospel with those who are yet to meet Jesus. Pray with Elle Bryce for her Japanese tutoring—that she will keep growing in her ability to speak and express concepts well in Japanese. Pray for her as she continues to build relationships with KGK staff and students. Pray with Chenny Thie for a smooth hand-over of KGK responsibilities and her preparations for Home Assignment from June-October. Pray with Dene & Rachel Hughes for their preparation for multiple summer camps. Ask for God’s wisdom in balancing the urgent and the important.

Pray for Matt & Bex Ooi as they arrive in Melbourne for Home Assignment. Pray that they may reconnect well with partner churches and individual supporters. Pray with Dave & Beck McIntyre for their church to continue to reach others with the love of Jesus. Praise God with Steven & Sandra Parsons for providing so many short-term volunteers to assist various ministries over the coming summer months. Pray that they will be open to God using them mightily for his glory. Pray with Adam & Helane Ramsay for boldness in reaching their neighbours, friends and community with the love of Jesus. Give thanks with Nathan & Maki Clapham for the relationships Maki has formed with her pilates groups.

NSW & ACT: Give thanks for the opportunity to run the Lasting Hope Appeal again in 2025. Pray that many would be moved to give generously towards global mission.

QNNSW: Give thanks for the many faithful supporters and churches praying and caring for QNNSW missionaries. Pray that many more will be inspired to give generously through the Lasting Hope Appeal.

SANT: Pray that God would raise up the necessary funds through the Lasting Hope Appeal, and that SANT branch would be grateful and faithful stewards of these resources from God.

TAS: Pray that the Lasting Hope Appeal will help reduce the forecast deficit. Pray for State Director Scott Doran-Sargent as he takes some annual leave—that he will come back refreshed for further service.

VIC: Give thanks for the May training day. Pray that the trainees will continue to build good cultural awareness and skills for sharing the gospel faithfully.

WA: Pray for a generous response to the Lasting Hope Appeal.

Pray with Bruce & Libby Hayes for their next transition as they prepare to move to St Andrew’s Hall, and for new opportunities as they resettle in Australia. Pray withCo-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Jiwan & Binita for creativity and wisdom in sharing the gospel. Pray with CoMPs Sam & Sharmila Budhathoki for stability and peace in Nepal, and that they might be salt and light. Pray for with CoMPs Ashish Christian & Karuna Sharma for Ashish’s Diploma of Ministry (at Asbury Theological Seminary), and Karuna’s PhD dissertation. Pray for Ashriel and Adriel as they as they begin the new school year.

Pray with A for increased enrolment at the school where she serves, and that God would use this to draw the staff to trust more deeply in his provision. Praise God with E forGod’s sustaining grace through the highs and lows of life. Pray with S & E for diligence in language learning and ministry, and for rest over the two-month school holiday break. Pray with M & K for an encouraging pastoral visit, and a relaxing and restful holiday with other cross culture worker families. Pray that this would deepen friendships for their sons with other missionary kids on location. Pray with K (& A) for a helpful and encouraging pastoral visit this month. Pray also for good ongoing relationships with supporters.

Pray with R for a positive finish to full-time language learning and time with her teachers. Thank God with S & D that their son S (9 months) seems to love life in Central Asia. Give thanks with J & S for an upcoming Home Assignment, and pray for good connections. Give thanks with J & P for a good finish to the academic year. Pray for good rest and rejuvenation over the summer break. Pray with Derk & Susan that more university students will attend Derk’s weekly Bible study.

Pray with L for his team as they hope to start a new conversational English program this month. Pray for effective advertising, students to enrol, routines to be established and God to be glorified.Pray with J that the new women’s groups would be a space where believers are encouraged and not-yet-believers come to know Jesus.Praise God with Dan & Marg for their partner churches in Orange, Forbes and the Illawarra, as well as the many encouraging supporters who pray and sacrificially support the work in the Middle East. Pray for a time of mutual encouragement while on Home Assignment.Praise God with S & M that they are at the end of full-time language study. Give thanks for how far they have come in Arabic and the deeper relationships they can form now. Pray with Gavin & Megan Rosser for steps toward peace in the region. Give thanks with M for the joy of gospel partnership.

Pray with B for God’s Spirit to be at work as she and co-workers embark on several days of Eid (religious holiday) visits to rural families this week. Praise God for his leading and many meaningful conversations with these families during the break-fast Eid last April. Pray with J that God will soften the hearts of those around her to hear and receive the gospel. Pray with W & S as they begin teaching at the new English centre near their home this month—for opportunities to share their lives with students, and for God to provide conversations about spiritual topics. Pray with C that the Scriptures and prayer will strengthen and encourage believers in the Dusty City through the Holy Spirit. Pray that her team would grow in Scripture memorisation. Pray for M (& L) as they visit churches, friends and family in the UK this month. Pray especially for M’s brother and family who are not Christians. Pray with S & P that they will keep Jesus at the centre of all they do and take rest in him.

Give thanks with Morgan & Olivia for the past five years in the Middle East, and for the generous partnership of supporters. Pray with John & Deb as they tell people of their departure at the end of the year, and begin to look for replacements for their positions. Ask God with Craig & Lisse for good face-to-face time in gospel partnership with St Matt’s West Pennant Hills this month. Thank God for time with family, friends and gospel partners during their time on Home Assignment. Pray with Elizabeth for fruitful and impactful conversations with the weekly ‘Dig Deep Sundays’ group that meets to discuss important topics of faith and life. Pray also for preparations for a potential young adult conference soon. Pray with Ray & Sandy for their church to continue to reach others with the love of Jesus.

Give thanks with David & Cathie Sandifer for many potential new students at Tyndale next year. Praise God with Klaus & Jude Hickel that one of the visitors to the evangelism course has joined a Bible study group. Give thanks with Michael & Rani Grivas-Allison for God’s work in and through GBU students this academic year. Ask that God would grant students deep spiritual rest in Christ, and confidence to be public in their allegiance to Jesus. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Jotham Booker for people to attend the evangelistic Bible study group, and for the church weekend away to be a blessing. Pray with CoMPs Leon & Oliva Le for continued dependence in Christ. Thank God with Howard & Patricia Spencer for the past academic year with growth in the GBU groups, and plans for a new group on another university campus. Pray for student leaders to grow in their commitment and confidence.

Pray with Simon & Jessica Cowell for the summer ahead—that the GBU students would continue to grow in faith and draw nearer to God. Pray that Simon and Jessica will use their summer well to serve Jesus. Pray with Jason & Hannah Fairclough for a growing joy and love for Italians. Pray that they are continually reminded of how good Jesus is, and that sharing him is more precious than anything else. Thank God with Gillian Law for short-term mission worker Zach’s service with GBU Rome this year. Pray for an encouraging debrief conference with other IFES Europe short-term workers, for his return to the UK and future serving Christ. Pray with Co-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Bostjan & Lidija Cifer for continued joy and delight in the LORD. Pray with CoMP Andrea (& Geanne) Becciolini for stronger health for their family. Pray for a constant attitude of worship to Jesus in the busyness of Andrea’s final term of theological studies. Pray with CoMP Manuel Ardolino at the conclusion of his training and the academic year—that everything he has learnt will bring him ever closer to Jesus and enable him to love and serve others.

Pray with Jim & Tanja French as they prepare to travel to Australia for a short Home Assignment at the end of June. Give thanks with Miriam Bradshaw for the women that come regularly to Mision Urbana on Thursdays and for growing relationships and trust. Help them to understand that Jesus can solve their deepest needs.Give thanks with Lauren Raiter for the opportunities in the last month to spend time with teammates and close friends, and the reminder that mission is a kingdom-wide effort. Pray with Chris & Kristy Galea for guidance and clarity as they seek to establish a Bible ministry in Malta.

Thank God with Karina Brabham for the time she had in Australia on Home Assignment. Pray for a smooth transition back into life and ministry in France. Pray with Josh & Susannah Apieczonek for positive goodbyes at their final church weekend and the last retreat with GBU staff. Pray with Colin & Catherine Puffett for God to stir the hearts of those in France who don’t know Jesus. Pray with Emma Payne for God’s provision of somewhere to live in Nantes from August. Pray also for wisdom in choosing a good language school to move to. Give thanks with Gillian Akers for answered prayer that her home group met on each of the three public holidays in May.

Give thanks for Bruce & Libby Hayes and their faithful service to CMS and the people of Nepal for over 30 years. Pray that as they transition into a new role at St Andrew’s Hall, they may adjust well and be a blessing to trainees.

Pray for Elizabeth Richards as she retires from CMS-A. Give thanks for the way she has served people generously and faithfully all over the world. Join the CMS-A Board in praying for a productive time together during their meeting tomorrow. Pray that God would continue to provide them with wisdom and discernment.

Give thanks with Marty & Jenny Foord for the provision of more space for their growing college, and for new connections with future pastors in India. Pray for wisdom in how to assist in their training. Pray with Christopher & Julie Dean as they continue adjusting to being back on location, and travel around re-connecting with friends and colleagues in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Timor-Leste. Pray with Chris & Grace Adams for their church to continue to reach others with the love of Jesus. Pray with Taulama Siuhengalu for continual growth in strengthening relationships with students and staff at HBC. Give thanks with Thủy (& Ngân) for their time as CMS Co-Mission Partners, and the opportunity to now study and minister in the US. Pray for their church to continue preaching the gospel, and that God will raise up new workers for the harvest field.

Pray with Andrew Buchanan & Abi Tandiseru that Andrew’s five-year residency permit application will proceed smoothly. Give thanks with Rowan for an encouraging and supportive pastoral visit late last month, particularly for the opportunity to pray together. Pray with Chris & Erin that they would make the most of Ascension Day celebrations happening tomorrow.

Give thanks with Julie for God’s goodness in Jesus. Pray with Rebekah for students to be formed more like Jesus and to gain valuable skills and experiences from ministry placements. Pray with Jon & Deborah for Simeon as he finishes high school, and for Ollie and Chloe as they get married in early June. Praise God with Josh & Nici for his sustenance and provision.

Pray with K that God would strengthen the faith of gospel workers in her location, and for growing holiness and unity among all believers. Pray with L & C for churches to respond wisely and with love in the face of tragedy. Pray with N that the God who seeks and saves the lost would save many in her location.
