Pray with M that over summer she’ll be able to have conversations about Jesus with O, F and H. Ask that the Spirit will be at work drawing them to Jesus. Pray with Anna Radkovic for those who came from Ghana, Uganda, Switzerland and elsewhere to the A Rocha Environmental Education Conference. Pray they would be inspired and equipped to share the love of our Creator, Lord, and Saviour. Praise God with Anthony and Trudi Elyard for partnership building as they finish visiting link churches. Pray as they work through the logistics of transitioning to Ethiopia with two suitcases each. Pray with Co-Mission Partners Anwar Berhe and Tsigereda Atankir for strength and good health as they carry heavy teaching loads and responsibilities. 

Pray with Malcolm and Ainsley Purdey for the CEP students as they go out for a week of mission in churches in Santiago. Give thanks with Chris and Stef Overhall for the GBU MOCLAM intensive (New Testament 4). Pray that students will continue growing in knowledge and depth of insight. Pray with Frances Cook for safe travel, and that her visits to churches would bear fruit for mission. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Álex (and Karina) Córdova Morales that they might show the fruit of the Spirit in all their relationships. Pray with CoMPs Andrés and Annika Ruiz Caro that the Lord will grow CEP students in love and knowledge. Give thanks with Adrian and Anita Lovell for school holidays earlier this month. Pray that their children will return to school feeling refreshed and settled for the second half of the year. 

Pray with Martin and Julie Field for a relaxing break over the July holidays—especially sharing time with their daughter Charlie, visiting from Australia. Pray for the commencement of the second semester with Año Puente students—for energy and focus. Thank God with Amy Stephens for the new ABUA Bible groups at the Catholic University and the Provincial University of Cordoba. Ask God to raise up more student leaders to facilitate these groups. Give thanks with Peter and Terry Blowes for their recent trip to Northeast Argentina to encourage the ‘troupes’ there. Especially give thanks for the way God is working in new groups and new workers. Thank God with Pedro and Joy Oliveira Woolmer that there has been no shortage of rain in Uruguay this year. However, pray for relief efforts in Uruguay’s neighbouring areas where major flooding has caused loss of life, property, and industry. Pray with Nick and Kysha Davies for Nick’s expository preaching workshops with the Peruvian Anglican Church and a Baptist denomination. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partners Bryan and Sarah Haro Leon for opportunities to read God’s Word with others, through Bryan’s seminary classes and Sarah’s Bible study for mums. 

Thank God with Matt and Ellen Tyler that they are settling well in Port Vila. Pray that they will continue to learn culture and the Bislama language with humility and perseverance. Pray with Joel and Tiffanie Atwood for their national ‘Who is Jesus?’ mission beginning this month—for many to read John’s gospel with them and be saved as they encounter Jesus. Pray for the Atwoods’ partnership with church youth groups during this time. Pray with Keith and Marion Birchley for their Mark Drama team as they begin to memorise and rehearse for the performances. Pray for Myrtle, the producer. Pray with David Pettett that following the Langham Preaching School in the mid-year break, many students will enrol in the new elective unit on preaching. Give thanks with Bill and Linda Colyer for time with students at Griffith and QUT Mid-Year Conferences. Pray for much fruit from a busy month of deputation in August. 

Thank God with Ian and Jenny Wood for Nungalinya principal Ben van Gelderen. Pray for the appointment of a good and wise new principal as Ben finishes at the end of this year. Give thanks with Derek and Rosemary Snibson for fruit from a recent gathering of Indigenous church leaders. Pray as they plan for a visit in August to encourage church folk and leaders at Ngukurr and nearby. Praise God with Simon and Claire Koefoed for recently ordained Aboriginal leaders Darryn, Edwin, Craig, and James. Praise God for time shared with extended family, and pray for safety in travel. Thank God with Co-Mission Partners James (and Miriam) Woods, Marlene Andrews and Mandy Manggurra for the opportunities they have to teach his Word. 

Pray with Chris and Karen Webb that God would raise up Aboriginal Christians in remote communities who are willing to take leadership. Thank God with Matt and Lisa Pearson that many visitors and children have continued to come along to church to hear God’s Word. Praise God with Josh and Steph Mackenzie that they will be welcoming new missionaries to their location next year. Pray that God would prepare the missionaries for the work ahead, and that their communities would be ready to welcome them. Pray with Geoff and Hannah Harper at St Andrew’s Hall for a week-long intensive in early August—that it would be a time of growth. Praise God with Samuel and Bec Gorfine for their time at the CMS missionaries conference. Give thanks with Maggie Crewes for time at SAH to learn, reflect and heal. Pray for continued discussions and clarity for her location and role in NT. 

St Andrew’s Hall: Pray for the team at SAH, that they will make effective use of extra time in these months for planning and preparation.  

Mentac (NSW and ACT): Give thanks that trainee Daniel can be training others in Christian ministry this month, for working with Muslims around NSW and ACT. Ask the Lord to guide people to Mentac for training and discernment about long term gospel work amongst Muslims and Hindus. 

Across Cultures (VIC): Pray for the ‘Across Cultures’ ministry to have a fruitful impact in people’s lives as they seek to love and share the gospel across cultural divides. May participants become bolder for the gospel, and see God’s Spirit at work as they share. 

Pray with D and T that connections with a hospital and therapy centre will lead to ongoing work for T. Thank God with L that he cares for her in times of change. Pray with Sam and Shan-Shan Chrisp for Uni students heading into rural areas of Taiwan to run ‘village missions’ this month, reaching out to primary and high school students. Thank God with Lachlan and Candy Grice for the opportunity to encourage students at Sydney Uni EU’s Annual Conference next week. Pray that students would give their lives to serve Jesus in ‘less reached and less resourced’ countries. 

Give thanks with Kellie Nicholas for the opportunity to attend East Asia Regional conference with KGK students in Thailand. Pray that students will be changed by God’s Word. Praise God with Chenny Thie for the increasing number of students attending weekly Bible studies at Waseda KGK. Thank God with Elle Bryce for a little break from language school during summer. Pray for good rest. Pray with Dene and Rachel Hughes for the ministries they are part of, while they are away on leave: Bible Adventure, Seahorse Soccer, KGK campus Bible studies, and block prayer meetings. 

Pray with Matt and Bex Ooi for the many Hi-B.A. summer camps for international students and Japanese high schoolers. Pray for the energy levels of staff and volunteers, and for the attendees to grow in their faith. Pray with Dave and Beck McIntyre as the family enjoys time together over summer. Pray also for the children’s and youth Christian summer camps over this period. Pray with Steven and Sandra Parsons for many kids to understand who Jesus really is through outreaches in two different communities, with teams coming from North America to help. Pray with Adam and Helane Ramsay for perseverance for their kids finishing exams. Pray also for the Ramsays as they write kids’ programs and prepare for camp. Pray with Nathan and Maki Clapham as they begin a community cafe to reach the local community. 

Pray with Bruce and Libby Hayes for the ongoing building programme at PSC, and for a good start to the new academic year in August. Pray with Co-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Sam and Sharmila Budhathoki, Ashish Christian and Karuna Sharma, and Jiwan and Binita that God might continue to strengthen and equip them for faithful ministry of his Word. 

Thank God with A for Home Assignment, and the privilege to share about gospel work in South Asia as she visits churches and university groups. Pray with M and K as they look forward to welcoming and supporting S and E and their three kids as they settle into their new ministry location. Thank God with E for the supporters and churches she has connected with during Home Assignment. Thank God with K (and A) for recent good connections with neighbours. Pray for God’s help for them and their baby as K prepares to restart part-time work at the university. Pray with S and E that they might travel safely to South Asia, and for God’s provision with their initial accommodation and orientation. 

Pray with R for safety for her team while the team leaders are out of country, and she has extra responsibility. Give thanks with J and P for a good finish to the academic year. Pray for rest and rejuvenation during the break, and travel mercies as they spend time with J’s visiting parents. Thank God with J and S for a board game club that J is leading. Pray for good relational opportunities there. Pray with S and D as they prepare to welcome their first child in early August and continue deputation. 

Pray with J for perseverance in language learning, and ask for God’s clear leading in future ministry opportunities. Thank God with S and M for H and S: their zeal for ministry and keenness to partner with S and M. Pray with Dan and Marg for many school missionary families travelling over the summer break and reconnecting with supporters in their home countries. Ask that they will find mutual encouragement and necessary support for their work. Pray with Gavin and Megan Rosser for good farewells as many leave church over summer. Ask for God to raise up new music leadership in church, and good rest for the Rossers. Pray with D and S that God would grant them opportunities to tell the gospel to some dear local friends. Pray that the Spirit would convict and open the hearts and minds of these friends to see the beauty of Christ. Pray with L as he considers, together with others, the best placement and partnerships for him in the Middle East. Pray with M that churches and individuals will capture the vision of sending gospel workers to unreached Muslims in the Middle East. 

Pray with B to finish up well with her project and visits before she leaves for Home Assignment. Ask for God’s help in preparing what to share during this time. Pray with C for her time connecting with partners, friends and family in Australia. Pray with J for her Arab colleagues who often carry the work while expatriates take a break over summer: for spiritual refreshment and growing vision for the salvation of their nation. Pray with M for her words and presence to be a blessing and challenge as she visits churches and student groups. Pray with W and S for continued progress with language and relationships in their community. Pray with S and P as they arrive on Home Assignment, and for their church in their absence. 

Pray with Morgan and Olivia that as a family, they would continue to spend regular time in God’s Word during Home Assignment. Pray with Elizabeth that she would continue to develop in her language learning, and continue to connect with people. Pray with John and Deb as they go on Home Assignment for two weeks in the latter half of July, that they might encourage others to go and serve in mission. Praise God with Craig and Lisse for their first year in Dubai: for the ways he has sustained them and worked in and through them. Pray for safety for their church family as many travel over the summer. Pray with Ray and Sandy that those in their staff team and church would continue to show the fruit of the Spirit. 

NSW & ACT: Give thanks for all who gave to the CMS Lasting Hope Appeal. Pray for ‘Mission Up Close Live’ that many would come to hear stories of God at work in the Middle East. 

QNNSW: Give thanks for funds provided so generously through the CMS Lasting Hope Appeal. Pray for M, and Gillian Law, and the Colyer family, all on their Home Assignments. 

SANT: Pray for the CMS SANT Annual Online Dinner event on 24 July: that it would be a blessing and encouragement to all who join. 

TAS: Pray for CMS TAS part-time Events Director, Andrew Maskell, as he organises two annual events—especially as he seeks children’s and youth workers and other volunteers for the January ‘Spur: Global Mission Conference’. 

VIC: Thank God for the upcoming Melbourne Dinner (20 July) and ask that it would be an encouraging event. 

WA: Pray that God might use the coming online dinner to better engage people in their praying for CMS missionaries. 

Give thanks with David and Cathie Sandifer for an encouraging six months in the Netherlands after Home Assignment, and for good health all around. Pray that time in the US visiting churches, friends and family would be fruitful. Pray with Co-Mission Partner Jotham Booker that God would use his discipling efforts to establish people firmly in Christ. Pray with Klaus and Jude Hickel that they might be able to say good goodbyes to supporters and family, and be strengthened for the ministry awaiting them in Leipzig. 

Pray with Simon and Jessica Cowell that they will plan effectively for the coming academic year. Pray too for daughters Lydia and Emma who are going on a Christian camp next week. Praise God with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Andrea (and Geanne) Becciolini for the academic year just finished, for the growth of the student leaders, and for the many students reached with the gospel. Pray with Jason and Hannah Fairclough that their church finds a new venue to meet, and that God would guide the leadership team as the church adapts to growth. Pray that GBU students use the summer wisely, and that God would continue his work of growing them to maturity in Christ. Thank God with Gillian Law for a time of connecting with mission partners and churches on Home Assignment. Pray that God would raise up new workers for the harvest field in Italy, and new partners to support workers in the Italian part of God’s kingdom. Thank God with CoMPs Bostjan and Lidija Cifer for new people (both Christian and not) coming to church. Pray for those at church considering beginning ministry apprenticeships. Pray with CoMP Manuel Ardolino that God would him give wisdom, so that he can better plan for his work with GBU Rome.  

Pray with Jim and Tanja French that they would use July to be productive, even in the middle of the summer heat, and for their children to have constructive activities in their long school holidays. Pray with Lauren Raiter as she finds routine in the heat of summer, and that she will have good gospel opportunities. Give thanks with Miriam Bradshaw for Christian youth camps in July and August. Pray that teenagers would invite their friends along. Thank God with Chris and Kristy Galea for an encouraging month with partner churches, and for quality time with friends and family. 

Pray with Karina Brabham, for God to work through projects sharing the gospel during the Olympic Games. Pray with Colin and Catherine Puffett, currently in Australia for a whirlwind Home Assignment, for energy and times of strong mutual encouragement with supporters. Thank God with Josh and Susannah Apieczonek for the chance to see family during Home Assignment. Pray for a refreshing time with other CMS missionaries, currently at the CMS mid-year Missionary Conference. Pray with Gillian Akers for ongoing settling into Rennes over the summer vacation, and that three weeks of intensive language school will help with fluency. Pray with Michael and Rani Grivas-Allison for wise direction, good learning, and joy, as they use a break in formal classes to work on their ‘Bible and Ministry’ French language ability. Thank God with Howard and Patricia Spencer for the end of their formal French classes. Pray for the organisational structures (database, financial, and partnership) being developed currently—that they will be a help to mission in Belgium and beyond. Pray with Emma Payne for good connections with people at her churches during deputation, that many would capture the vision of church planting in France. 

Give thanks with Marty and Jenny Foord for new students at ETCAsia, and pray for a good start to the new academic year at the college. Pray that the workshops and talks the Foords give at the annual Singapore Pastors’ Conference will be helpful. Pray with Christopher and Julie Dean for the Timorese people as they anticipate the Pope’s September visit. Pray for evangelical Christians to engage purposefully, wisely, graciously, and courageously in gospel conversations with families, friends, and neighbours. Thank God with Chris and Grace Adams for the 20 young adults that Chris meets with on Saturdays to study the book of Exodus. Pray with Malcolm and Leanne that they will adjust well to life in Australia as they prepare for their final Home Assignment. Pray with Taulama Siuhengalu that he will quickly settle into his new place and the routine of life on location. Pray with Co-Mission Partner T (and N) that God will give them many good gospel contacts as they seek to church plant. 

Give thanks with Nick and Rebekah for an open door for their next major visa transition. Pray with Rowan that his newly elected church council will know and make known the love of God. Pray that they will live for him in a way which reflects the grace God has given us. Pray with Andrew Buchanan and Abi Tandiseru as they settle back into Sydney for Home Assignment. Pray with Chris and Erin that God would grant them good health and protection from tropical illnesses. 

Pray with Julie for her student visa application, that it would be a smooth process. Pray too for quality time with visitors this month. Pray with Jon and Deborah that their new accommodation will be a good help to their ministries. Pray with Rebekah for those considering whether to serve in her part of the world (including those who come short term) to have courage and wisdom in decisions. Pray with Josh and Nici for more opportunities for Nici to connect with local friends and have spiritual conversations. 

Praise God with K for a new Language Centre manager! Pray for growing unity and purpose within the team. Pray with N for a continued ‘all clear’ in her annual medical checkup, and a good rest during this month’s term break. Thank God with J for the privileges of serving in her location over the last nine years. Praise God with I for regular opportunities to share about her location and reaching Muslims. Pray for an upcoming visit from a former student from her location, that it will be an opportunity to share about Jesus. Pray with L and C as they travel a lot this month—that they would stay in God’s Word regularly despite their changes in schedules. Pray for Howard and Michelle Newby and their family in the many changes they are going through as they return from the Philippines. 

Pray with Tim and Olivia Mulherin for the MMC missionary team, who continue to battle with ongoing personal and family crises. Pray with Jeremy and Jill Horrocks that the full-time PPBS students will have renewed enthusiasm for studying the Bible after their break. Pray for safety as they travel back to the school, which begins in two days. Pray for Maurice and Amanda Jacobson leaving Australia next week to return to Cambodia. ` 

Give thanks for the many partner organisations that CMS works with around the world, and pray for more such partnerships to be developed and strengthened. Ask that Mission Support Fund scholarship recipients will study diligently and reflect God’s character in their relationships. Pray especially for good health, safety when they travel, and for those who are far from family.  

Ask God that Daniel & Olivia Webster would balance good rest with good preparation for the coming semester. Pray for Kylie Zietsch to continue to grow in her love and dependence on Jesus. Pray with Nathan & Diane Lovell for the GWC students who are travelling home over the mid-year break. Pray that God would give them safe journeys and sweet reunions with their families and friends. Pray with Mike & Karen Roe for Karen (& the TEDS team) who are facilitating lecturer training this month in Nigeria and via online intensives. Pray with Co-Mission Partner Thulisile (& Thato) Mabe that the staff and students at Johannesburg Bible College will be reminded every day that everything we do is to the glory of God. Pray also that they can offer the full one-year ministry course in Alexandra Township, and that they would find a permanent place for the campus.  

Pray with Brenton & Mel Kilby for energy, relationship building and a peace that surpasses understanding during their time with partner churches, and two commissioning services this month. Pray with Mike & Katie Taylor for a refreshing break and a good time visiting family. Pray that as they share with churches about what God is doing in Tanzania, people will be moved to praise. Pray with Michael & Jean Burke for patience and progress as they wait for the necessary permits and approvals. Pray with David & Jenny Juniper for the many training seminars being held between now and September. Pray for faithful teachers and godly hearers.
