Pray with A for increased enrolment at the school where she serves, and that God would use this to draw the staff to trust more deeply in his provision. Praise God with E forGod’s sustaining grace through the highs and lows of life. Pray with S & E for diligence in language learning and ministry, and for rest over the two-month school holiday break. Pray with M & K for an encouraging pastoral visit, and a relaxing and restful holiday with other cross culture worker families. Pray that this would deepen friendships for their sons with other missionary kids on location. Pray with K (& A) for a helpful and encouraging pastoral visit this month. Pray also for good ongoing relationships with supporters.

Pray with R for a positive finish to full-time language learning and time with her teachers. Thank God with S & D that their son S (9 months) seems to love life in Central Asia. Give thanks with J & S for an upcoming Home Assignment, and pray for good connections. Give thanks with J & P for a good finish to the academic year. Pray for good rest and rejuvenation over the summer break. Pray with Derk & Susan that more university students will attend Derk’s weekly Bible study.

Pray with L for his team as they hope to start a new conversational English program this month. Pray for effective advertising, students to enrol, routines to be established and God to be glorified.Pray with J that the new women’s groups would be a space where believers are encouraged and not-yet-believers come to know Jesus.Praise God with Dan & Marg for their partner churches in Orange, Forbes and the Illawarra, as well as the many encouraging supporters who pray and sacrificially support the work in the Middle East. Pray for a time of mutual encouragement while on Home Assignment.Praise God with S & M that they are at the end of full-time language study. Give thanks for how far they have come in Arabic and the deeper relationships they can form now. Pray with Gavin & Megan Rosser for steps toward peace in the region. Give thanks with M for the joy of gospel partnership.

Pray with B for God’s Spirit to be at work as she and co-workers embark on several days of Eid (religious holiday) visits to rural families this week. Praise God for his leading and many meaningful conversations with these families during the break-fast Eid last April. Pray with J that God will soften the hearts of those around her to hear and receive the gospel. Pray with W & S as they begin teaching at the new English centre near their home this month—for opportunities to share their lives with students, and for God to provide conversations about spiritual topics. Pray with C that the Scriptures and prayer will strengthen and encourage believers in the Dusty City through the Holy Spirit. Pray that her team would grow in Scripture memorisation. Pray for M (& L) as they visit churches, friends and family in the UK this month. Pray especially for M’s brother and family who are not Christians. Pray with S & P that they will keep Jesus at the centre of all they do and take rest in him.

Give thanks with Morgan & Olivia for the past five years in the Middle East, and for the generous partnership of supporters. Pray with John & Deb as they tell people of their departure at the end of the year, and begin to look for replacements for their positions. Ask God with Craig & Lisse for good face-to-face time in gospel partnership with St Matt’s West Pennant Hills this month. Thank God for time with family, friends and gospel partners during their time on Home Assignment. Pray with Elizabeth for fruitful and impactful conversations with the weekly ‘Dig Deep Sundays’ group that meets to discuss important topics of faith and life. Pray also for preparations for a potential young adult conference soon. Pray with Ray & Sandy for their church to continue to reach others with the love of Jesus.

Give thanks with David & Cathie Sandifer for many potential new students at Tyndale next year. Praise God with Klaus & Jude Hickel that one of the visitors to the evangelism course has joined a Bible study group. Give thanks with Michael & Rani Grivas-Allison for God’s work in and through GBU students this academic year. Ask that God would grant students deep spiritual rest in Christ, and confidence to be public in their allegiance to Jesus. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Jotham Booker for people to attend the evangelistic Bible study group, and for the church weekend away to be a blessing. Pray with CoMPs Leon & Oliva Le for continued dependence in Christ. Thank God with Howard & Patricia Spencer for the past academic year with growth in the GBU groups, and plans for a new group on another university campus. Pray for student leaders to grow in their commitment and confidence.

Pray with Simon & Jessica Cowell for the summer ahead—that the GBU students would continue to grow in faith and draw nearer to God. Pray that Simon and Jessica will use their summer well to serve Jesus. Pray with Jason & Hannah Fairclough for a growing joy and love for Italians. Pray that they are continually reminded of how good Jesus is, and that sharing him is more precious than anything else. Thank God with Gillian Law for short-term mission worker Zach’s service with GBU Rome this year. Pray for an encouraging debrief conference with other IFES Europe short-term workers, for his return to the UK and future serving Christ. Pray with Co-Mission Partners (CoMPs) Bostjan & Lidija Cifer for continued joy and delight in the LORD. Pray with CoMP Andrea (& Geanne) Becciolini for stronger health for their family. Pray for a constant attitude of worship to Jesus in the busyness of Andrea’s final term of theological studies. Pray with CoMP Manuel Ardolino at the conclusion of his training and the academic year—that everything he has learnt will bring him ever closer to Jesus and enable him to love and serve others.

Pray with Jim & Tanja French as they prepare to travel to Australia for a short Home Assignment at the end of June. Give thanks with Miriam Bradshaw for the women that come regularly to Mision Urbana on Thursdays and for growing relationships and trust. Help them to understand that Jesus can solve their deepest needs.Give thanks with Lauren Raiter for the opportunities in the last month to spend time with teammates and close friends, and the reminder that mission is a kingdom-wide effort. Pray with Chris & Kristy Galea for guidance and clarity as they seek to establish a Bible ministry in Malta.

Thank God with Karina Brabham for the time she had in Australia on Home Assignment. Pray for a smooth transition back into life and ministry in France. Pray with Josh & Susannah Apieczonek for positive goodbyes at their final church weekend and the last retreat with GBU staff. Pray with Colin & Catherine Puffett for God to stir the hearts of those in France who don’t know Jesus. Pray with Emma Payne for God’s provision of somewhere to live in Nantes from August. Pray also for wisdom in choosing a good language school to move to. Give thanks with Gillian Akers for answered prayer that her home group met on each of the three public holidays in May.

Give thanks for Bruce & Libby Hayes and their faithful service to CMS and the people of Nepal for over 30 years. Pray that as they transition into a new role at St Andrew’s Hall, they may adjust well and be a blessing to trainees.

Pray for Elizabeth Richards as she retires from CMS-A. Give thanks for the way she has served people generously and faithfully all over the world. Join the CMS-A Board in praying for a productive time together during their meeting tomorrow. Pray that God would continue to provide them with wisdom and discernment.

Give thanks with Marty & Jenny Foord for the provision of more space for their growing college, and for new connections with future pastors in India. Pray for wisdom in how to assist in their training. Pray with Christopher & Julie Dean as they continue adjusting to being back on location, and travel around re-connecting with friends and colleagues in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Timor-Leste. Pray with Chris & Grace Adams for their church to continue to reach others with the love of Jesus. Pray with Taulama Siuhengalu for continual growth in strengthening relationships with students and staff at HBC. Give thanks with Thủy (& Ngân) for their time as CMS Co-Mission Partners, and the opportunity to now study and minister in the US. Pray for their church to continue preaching the gospel, and that God will raise up new workers for the harvest field.

Pray with Andrew Buchanan & Abi Tandiseru that Andrew’s five-year residency permit application will proceed smoothly. Give thanks with Rowan for an encouraging and supportive pastoral visit late last month, particularly for the opportunity to pray together. Pray with Chris & Erin that they would make the most of Ascension Day celebrations happening tomorrow.

Give thanks with Julie for God’s goodness in Jesus. Pray with Rebekah for students to be formed more like Jesus and to gain valuable skills and experiences from ministry placements. Pray with Jon & Deborah for Simeon as he finishes high school, and for Ollie and Chloe as they get married in early June. Praise God with Josh & Nici for his sustenance and provision.

Pray with K that God would strengthen the faith of gospel workers in her location, and for growing holiness and unity among all believers. Pray with L & C for churches to respond wisely and with love in the face of tragedy. Pray with N that the God who seeks and saves the lost would save many in her location. Pray for N & R to farewell people well as they prepare to return to location. Pray with I for continued joy and growth in Jesus.

Pray with Tim & Olivia Mulherin for their Khmer church as it goes through some challenges and significant changes. Give thanks with Jeremy & Jill Horrocks for an opportunity for students and staff at HOPE and Phnom Penh Bible School to enjoy the holidays. Praise God for their upcoming time with their link churches during June and July. Pray with Daniel & Olivia Webster that students would learn lots while preparing for exams, and that the Webster’s would prepare well for Home Assignment. Pray with Nathan & Diane Lovell for the GWC students as term two finishes, and they start preparing for exams. Pray for clear minds and cogent writing. Thank God with Kylie Zietsch for a good break and time for rest. Pray for the teachers who are writing a new course­—that it is faithful and helpful for the students. Pray with Co-Mission Partner Thulisile (& Thato) Mabe for time to rest, reflect and plan while on Sabbatical leave until mid-July. Pray that this time would be a blessing to her and her family.

Pray with Brenton & Mel Kilby for continued relationship building as they begin ministry, and seek out friends to help their cultural knowledge and Swahili.Pray with Mike & Katie Taylor that God would be glorified in the upcoming graduation, and for their graduating students to return equipped with the desire and knowledge to preach Christ crucified. Pray with Andrew & Margaret Newman for soft hearts in their students as they put God’s Word into practice. Pray with Adam & Avril Friend that Adam might teach clearly and faithfully the book of Revelation to College students. Praise God with Ryan & Lynne Verghese for the 16 participants who are studying “Introduction to the Bible” as part of the Preliminary Theological Certificate. Pray that their confidence in God’s Word would grow. Pray also that God would raise up a godly Bishop.

Ask for M to resettle well into life in North Africa after six months of Home Assignment. Pray with Anna Radkovic for the A Rocha team as they prepare for the big Sokoke Forest Mountain Bike Challenge. Pray A Rocha would shine bright for Jesus during this public community event.Pray with Anthony & Trudi Elyard for wise counsel and clarity as they investigate other opportunities, as the ongoing conflict in northern Ethiopia means they cannot go to Bahir Dar as initially planned. Praise God with Co-Mission Partners Anwar Berhe & Tsigereda Atankir for the 151 new students at the Bible college. Pray for students to quickly adapt to the college environment, and that their time in the college will be productive.

Give thanks with Malcolm & Ainsley Purdey for the partnership, support and care they receive. Pray with Chris & Stef Overhall for a fruitful final month of Home Assignment, especially farewelling family and friends. Ask that the children will rely on God as they go through change. Pray with Adrian & Anita Lovell that the group studying Ephesians online with Adrian will grow in their knowledge and love of Christ, and that their study will transform their lives. Give thanks with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) Álex (and Karina) Córdova Morales for an excellent congregational assembly and seeing the growth of their church over the past year. Pray with CoMPs Andrés & Annika Ruiz Caro for the CEP students, as many of them face struggles with physical and mental fatigue. Pray for wisdom for the lecturers to navigate this season with love and patience.

Give thanks with Martin & Julie Field for the Año Puente cohort who have adapted well to the program’s routine. Give thanks with Amy Stephens for a wonderful start to the year, with students eager to gather on campus to read the Bible. Praise God for her safe arrival back in Australia for Home Assignment. Give thanks with Peter & Terry Blowes for two weeks in north-east Argentina. Pray that this time has built up the saints, and challenged students and staff. Pray also for a smooth move out of their flat. Thank God with Pedro & Joy Oliveira Woolmer for a new MOCLAM group with people from their church. Pray that the young men in this group would be blessed by their study and be advocates for MOCLAM to others. Praise God with Nick & Kysha Davies for the completion of the two MOCLAM courses studied by the Peruvian Anglican Church this cycle. Pray with Co-Mission Partners Bryan & Sarah Haro Leon for Bryan as he begins teaching another Old Testament I class, and for Sarah’s post-Easter Bible studies to be well attended.

Give thanks with Matt & Ellen Tyler that they are settling into the village of Baiap on Ambrym. Pray for them as they learn the language of Daakaka and their culture. Thank God with Joel & Tiffanie Atwood for their encouraging partnerships with churches and individuals. Give thanks with Keith & Marion Birchley for sustaining them through the past month, and that they have moved into permanent premises. Ask for God to uphold their ministry apprentices in Port Moresby. Give thanks with Bill & Linda Colyer that one of their sons, Matthew, is visiting them this week. Give thanks with David Pettett for more students studying Greek at BPTC.

Praise God with Ian & Jenny Wood for students from remote places who want to study the Bible and understand what God is saying. Pray for Ian & Jenny as they teach in May—that God would work in the lives of their students and help them to grow as they love trusting in Jesus. Pray with Derek & Rosemary Snibson for their team as they plan to support Christian leaders and gather men and women in separate retreats, despite the challenges of distance. Pray with Simon & Claire Koefoed for Claire as she completes a Masters unit ‘Cross Cultural Communication’ at Ridley College. Pray with Co-Mission Partner (CoMP) James Woods (& Miriam Numamurdirdi) for James to be strong in teaching, and for him and Miriam to stand firm in Christ. Pray for his family to know and acknowledge the Lord Jesus. Pray with CoMP Marlene Andrews for her own community at Ngukurr—for people to work together and to know Jesus. Pray with CoMP Mandy Manggurra for the growth of youth and music ministries in Ngukurr and Numbulwar, and for God to raise up leaders in these ministries.

Pray with Chris & Karen Webb that their final church visits will go smoothly and that they will prepare well to return to Broome next month. Pray with Matt & Lisa Pearson for the ongoing translation of the Old Testament in Kunwinjku. Pray with Josh & Steph Mackenzie for the church and leaders in Numbulwar. Pray with Maggie Crewes for safe travel, good connections and relationships, and continued cultural learning as she attends the NT clergy conference in Darwin. Pray for perseverance in language learning. Pray with Samuel & Bec Gorfine for the Groote Eylandt church—that more men will come to church and grow in maturity. Pray also that God will raise more men for leadership. Thank God with Geoff & Hannah Harper for the Katherine Christian Convention at the start of May and for the teaching on forgiveness. Pray that people who attended would be inspired and encouraged in their faith as they return to their communities.

SAH: Pray for the SAH community as they prepare for Federal Candidates Committee at the end of May, that this would be a great encouragement and endorsement of new CMS missionaries. Pray with Dan & Erina Sawyer for continued learning at SAH and preparation for deputation. Give thanks with Ned Gifford for her time at SAH to work on practical things for life and ministry in Argentina. Thank God with Lachie & Zaneta Neal for providing them each with a cross-cultural friend who they can interview as part of their SAH training. Pray with Tony Nguyen & Yenli Taniwan that God would continue to watch over their baby due in July, and that they would continue to plan wisely for deputation. Pray with Stephanie Hawkins that God will help her to keep reflecting on how she can grow in readiness to serve in another culture. Give thanks with J & A for joyful times of learning at SAH. Give thanks with Grant & Alison Gallant that their sons Caleb and Joshua are settling into living together. Pray for Yumin that she continues to trust in God as she transitions back to South East Asia, adapting to new routines while engaging in gospel work and theological studies. Mentac: Give thanks for the many home visits that apprentices A and A are making to women in the neighbourhood.Pray for deepening relationships with these women and open hearts to the gospel. Across Cultures: Pray for the next Across Cultures Training Day on Cultural Awareness to be a helpful time for participants in growing in their understanding and agility for relating well across cultures.

Ask God with Lachlan & Candy Grice for the provision of suitable housing, and for good and quick connections with co-workers and neighbours in Taiwan. Pray with Kellie Nicholas as she adjusts to her change in role at KGK, and that she will be able to connect with students. Pray with Elle Bryce that she finds her feet and a good flow with her co-workers as she settles into her role with KGK. Pray for her as she prepares for another national Japanese exam in July. Pray with Chenny Thie for God’s wisdom and guidance for preparation to return to Australia for Home Assignment in June. Pray with Dene & Rachel Hughes for their adjustment to new things, and that they can extend God’s grace to those struggling around them.

Praise God with Steven & Sandra Parsons for Steven’s opportunity to join TEAM international leaders this week for advanced training on sharpening conflict management skills cross-culturally. Pray for Adam & Helane Ramsay as they write new kids ministry lessons for the primary school summer camp. Pray that they would have good communication and teamwork.
