Peter Kidd has been part of a missional community church plant from Forest Lake Baptist Church since 2018. In his role as Director of Worldview at Genesis Christian College, he develops programs in Christian character formation for students and supports teachers in teaching from a biblical worldview. Every January, along with his wife Claire and their three children, Peter loves starting the year at Summer School on Mount Tamborine with a focus on bible and mission.

Mark Fairhurst attends Mitchelton Presbyterian Church when he’s not doing CMS deputations in supporting churches. He has been an Anglican minister for 37 years. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Theology, and a Master of Arts in Ancient History. He has an accounting and finance background from his first degree, 19 years of pastoral experience in two churches, and eight years in multicultural ministry.

“I have been a member of CMS for almost 40 years, worked for CMS in the NSW & ACT branch from 2006-2018, and have been the Executive Director of QNNSW since 2018. CMS has been a vital part of my life as a Christian since shortly after becoming a Christian. My heart resonates with the vision of CMS and rejoices in seeing people of all cultures coming to Christ and growing as his disciples.”

Tory Cayzer has served in the Anglican Diocese of Armidale for 14 years and is currently Vicar of Kootingal and Moonbi Anglican Church. He holds a Bachelor of Divinity and a PhD in Science. Tory brings theological depth and a gospel-centred focus to the Board. He also serves as Archdeacon of Peel and is active in diocesan leadership.

Tom Chow has been attending Sunnybank District Baptist Church for over 15 years. He is a professional mechanical engineer and project manager. Tom first joined the CMS QNNSW fellowship two years ago as a volunteer in the governance restructure area.

“I’m privileged to witness and experience God’s love and grace through the CMS QNNSW fellowship both abroad in the mission field and among its staff and volunteers.”

John Hagidimitriou attends an Anglican church. He is a medical doctor with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from UQ and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. John also holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Brisbane Graduate School of Business (QUT) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has served on the board of the Christian Medical and Dental Fellowship of Australia (CMDFA) from 2011 to 2017.

“I am grateful to be able to serve CMS QNNSW on the Council for many years, and now the Board. It has allowed me to give back with the unique skills that God has equipped me with, which is an honour to do.”

Leone Hanger attends Northern Beaches Anglican Woolgoolga and has been part of the Anglican Church her entire life. She brings practical financial knowledge gained by being Treasurer of community organisations and studying accounting and MYOB. For the last 30 plus years, Leone has participated in boards and committees as Chair, Secretary, or Treasurer, giving her extensive experience. She has a passion for the growth of the gospel throughout the world and seeing the lost reached. Leone and her husband have been actively supporting missionaries and attending CMS Mission Encounters and Summer Schools for the past 15 years.

Anne Milton attends Southside Anglican Church – Southern Cross. She has been involved with the Diocese of Southern Cross for over two years, but more than 50 years in Anglicanism. She holds a Diploma of Theology (ACT) and is a graduate of BST (previously QBI). Anne has extensive experience working in the Anglican system, including roles as a clergyman’s wife, working with the Anglican Board of Education, and serving as Assistant Registrar at Moore Theological College. She has also been an Assistant to the General Secretary at CMS QNNSW.

“CMS is central to my Christian faith. There is no greater joy than meeting to pray with fellow-minded Christians through CMS and to support well-prepared and dedicated missionaries, firstly in prayer, but also financially. Summer School, at the start of each year, is a special delight. I’m grateful to the Lord for the endurance of this organisation enabling the good news of Jesus to be told to those who would never hear it without our missionaries. My prayer is that God will continue to watch over every aspect of CMS’s ministry until Jesus returns.”

Rob Stanley has attended Keppel Anglican Church in Central Queensland since 2018, when he also started serving on the CMS QNNSW Council. Rob trained as a minister with a Bachelor of Theology (MTC) and has served in Anglican ministry for over 20 years. He brings experience with governance through his leadership on other boards.

“Since being a young Christian attending church with my family, CMS has been close to my heart. Now on the CMS QNNSW Board, I count it a privilege to serve God by supporting his faithful workers as they go out across the world.”

Selena Yen has been attending Sunnybank District Baptist Church since she was a teenager in the early 1990s. She feels privileged to serve on the CMS QNNSW Board with her professional experience as a lawyer and has grown in the area of corporate governance. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce/LLB and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

“Just as CMS sends long-term workers, I have been a long-term supporter! I have been involved with CMS QNNSW at many different levels, including serving as a Council/Board member, and I am thankful to be part of an organisation that actively works to remain Christ-centred and on-purpose for a world that knows Jesus.”
