Welcome to CMS Tasmania

As a fellowship of Christian people, CMS Tasmania exists to glorify God through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ in all the world. Our vision is to see God’s Church growing in all the world as lives and communities are transformed by Christ.

Based in Bellerive, CMS Tasmania has regional committees in the north-west, north and south. We are generously supported by volunteers throughout the Diocese. Our State Director is David Boyd.

Missionary Support

Of the roughly 200 missionaries supported by CMS Australia, Tasmania supports Andrew and Pam Lake in Damascus, Syria. Click here for more information about them.

Praying for Missionaries

Prayer for our missionaries and for the world is our core business. Regular prayer gatherings are held in the three regions of the state – in Ulverstone, Launceston and Hobart. Click here for more details.
