CMS Victoria Inc. is an incorporated association. It has members and a Board. The Board makes policy decisions about the direction of the branch and guides the branch staff with goals and objectives.
The Board is made up of people chosen for their maturity in the faith, knowledge of mission and association with CMS.
If you feel you need to speak to someone on the Board, you can do this by emailing or phoning the office, and a member of the Board will respond to your inquiry.

Ray Ternes – Chairperson
Ray’s been a member of Glen Waverley Anglican Church for about 20 years and is in his fifth year on the CMS-Vic Board. He works as a barrister mainly in personal injury litigation.
Jane Peters – Deputy Chairperson
Jane Peters, CMS missionary (Chile 1992- 2010), is married to Graeme and together they are involved in ministry at St James’ Dandenong. Jane also works as a carer in disability services, having previously worked as a physiotherapist.
Wei-Han Kuan – Executive Director
Wei-Han is the Executive Director of CMS Victoria and has been in that role for nine years.
Anita is an engineer by training, with a public sector career spanning 23 years. She provides significant strategic leadership of large teams, tackling complexity, articulating strategies that are owned by teams and building futures thinking into current plans. This is Anita’s second year on the CMS-Vic Board.
Julia is a trained lawyer and is currently working full time as a Mum and part-time as a Submissions Writer for Doncare. She attends South Croydon Anglican Church with her young family.
Andrew is a member of City on a Hill. He lectures in Old Testament at Ridley College. He and Stephanie have two young children. This is his second year on the CMS Victoria Board.
Peter’s a member of St Alfred’s Blackburn North and has been on the Board for about eight years. He works as a solicitor with Lewis Holdway Lawyers.
Graham works as a senior engineer at Orica. He’s a member of Ormond Anglican. He worked as CMS Victoria’s Chief Operations Officer for 3 years from 2015 to 2018. This is Graham’s second year on the CMS Victoria Board.
Andrew works for the Australian Communications and Media Authority as a senior policy advisor. He and his wife Helen were CMS missionaries in the Middle East for 10 years.
