Welcome to CMS Summer School 2021!

It can be a challenge to stand out, to choose to be different. Yet as those who know God, the creator of the universe, we are set apart from the rest of the world.

Thank you for your partnership in mission through the challenges of 2020. God is still on his throne, and his mission is more urgent than ever. It is a joy to have you join us for CMS Summer School 2021 as we gather online around God’s word.

Youth and children’s resources

We are committed to helping young people play a part in global mission, even as we share your disappointment in not being able to provide a Youth and Children’s program at Summer School 2021.

Our Youth and Children’s leaders have put together a collection of resources to engage your children throughout the week.

Plus, our Family Bible Studies (on page 6 of your digital booklet) have been written to help your family spend time in God’s word throughout the week.

Lord’s Supper service

During the Saturday night service, we will be taking part in the Lord’s Supper together. If you would like to give thanks for the sacrifice of Jesus during this service, we invite you to prepare your own bread and wine (or juice). View the Lord’s Supper service outline.

Ways to engage online

Workers in secure locations

Please do not refer to or post photos of secure missionaries on social media or the internet. This is important for their safety, for the security of Christian partners, and for securing future visas.

Summer School Facebook group

Share your reflections from the talks, invite others into your home (in a COVID-safe way), and connect with other believers throughout Summer School by joining our Facebook group!

Digital bookshop

At CMS Summer School we will be joined by The Wandering Bookseller, who has arranged a digital bookshop for Summer School attendees. Receive a 10% discount on books included in the Summer School collection!
