General Secretary (CEO) – CMS NSW & ACT (Full time)

CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of General Secretary (CEO), CMS NSW & ACT. This position is full-time, based in our head office in Sydney CBD.

Use your passion for global mission to inspire Australian Christians to partner with CMS missionaries for a world that knows Jesus.

CMS is looking for an ordained Anglican clergyman (or eligible to be ordained) to lead the CMS NSW & ACT branch in the next stage of our mission to see a world that knows Jesus.

As General Secretary you will oversee all branch functions including leading the staff team, selection and pastoral care of missionaries, and working with the CMS Fellowship across Australia.

Chef / Kitchen Manager – CMS Conference Centre, Katoomba (Full time)

CMS NSW & ACT invites applications for the role of Chef/Kitchen Manager. This position is full-time, based in our Conference Centre at Katoomba.

CMS works with churches to set apart long-term workers who cross cultures to share the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our vision is to see a world that knows Jesus.

As Chef/Kitchen Manager you will use your knowledge and experience of professional cooking to efficiently run a kitchen. You will utilise your good leadership skills whilst working quickly and calmly when under pressure. You will also need to control a budget.

To be considered for this position you will possess:

  • Hygiene and Food Safety Certificate (essential)
  • Certificate in Food Safety Supervisor (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial catering or similar high volume environments (highly regarded)
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery (desired)
