Remote Aboriginal Church Leaders can feel isolated and alone:

Aboriginal church leaders set themselves apart from aspects of cultural and community life, they are competent people who deeply care about their communities. And because of their Christian faith they say yes to helping many people; this can be isolating and tiring. Having missionaries present living alongside them in community can be encouraging. Being a sounding board, praying together, reading the bible, preparing services and messages are just some of the activities we participate in that can help ease that burden and the isolation of being a church leader.
