Will you help pass on lasting hope?
Your gift to the CMS Lasting Hope Appeal before 30 June will help enable our missionaries to continue passing on the gospel of hope throughout the world.
A story of hope in the South Pacific
In the South Pacific, many people go to church but they have never met Jesus.
In Vanuatu, CMS missionary Joel Atwood is discipling future church and community leaders for the region.
One of these trainees is Joel Fangalaasu.
Joel put his law career on hold this year to train as a full-time staff worker with the Christian Fellowship at the University of the South Pacific. He says:
“I really want to see students come to know the real Jesus and be transformed by his word. For them to be so soaked in the gospel that telling others would be the most natural thing to do.”
The strategic ministry Joel is involved in is equipping people to pass on lasting hope to churches and communities in the South Pacific and beyond.
Will you give today today to enable future leaders in the region and across the world to know Jesus?
CMS has been training, preparing and sending people to take the gospel to the nations for over 200 years. This is only possible because CMS is a fellowship of churches and supporters who pray, care and give.
Your gift to this year’s Lasting Hope Appeal will help keep our missionaries in their locations, and help raise up new workers for the harvest field.
