CMS Camp Milimani is a great opportunity for kids in school years 4 to 6 to spend time in God’s word, thinking through mission and God’s plan for this world. Apart from a daily Bible study, there are a number of activities throughout the camp.
Our primary school aged camp will run in the first week of the term 3 school holidays in Katoomba. The 3-day camp is full of activities, Bible talks, visits by missionary families, and more. Over 200 kids come together from all over NSW and ACT and some even from interstate.
Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! – Luke 24:5-6
The death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ changed everything for everyone, forever! But what does that really mean for us, for the world in which we live and for the eternity to come? This year, campers will get to enjoy exploring what the implications are for them and the world ‘…because the tomb is empty’
|Our speaker this year at Camp Milimani will be Sarah Lancaster. Sarah is the Kids Pastor at St Paul’s Anglican Church, Carlingford. She loves digging into God’s word with kids and helping them work through their big questions. She also loves to laugh, dance and drink coffee.|
We’re also excited to be joined by CMS workers, Miriam Bradshaw, serving in Spain and Sam & Shan-Shan Chrisp, serving in Taiwan. We’ll have a chance to hear how God has been at work in their locations to see people know Jesus.
Camp Milimani will cost $245 per camper. This cost covers accommodation, all meals, a zip-up hoodie for each camper and activities across the week.
Places are limited due to COVID-19 restrictions so please register your child as soon as possible if they would like to attend. Due to these limits there will be a wait list in the event that registration reaches full capacity. We hope to be able to accept everyone who would like to attend. Registration will close on 21 August 2022, or when capacity is reached.
Be sure to also refer to the Youth and Children’s FAQ page for what youth need to do prior to attending, as well as information concerning procedures for in the event that a COVID-19 case occurs during camp.
