What is SummerView?

SummerView is a conference and retreat for Christians who want to be inspired and challenged through good teaching, stimulating speakers and fellowship with others to learn more about God. It is the perfect opportunity to find out more about global mission and be encouraged to become more actively involved in God’s work.

What can I expect at SummerView?

You can participate in stimulating worship, Bible teaching, prayer times, electives and group discussions, as well as hearing from experienced speakers on mission.
The morning sessions begin with worship and Bible study. After a short break, our international speakers give an address on current trends in mission. Our guest missionary speakers tell us what it is like at the coalface. In the afternoons there are elective sessions on a range of interesting topics, or free time if you prefer. There are also times of prayer for CMS and SU ministries and workers.

During free time, you can choose from a variety of activities including walking, exploring the local area, having coffee with friends, golfing, surfing or simply enjoying a siesta.
Children and youth are well catered for, with a crèche and primary and youth programs conducted during the morning conference sessions, all led by experienced workers.
