Description
An Anglican Agency seeks to mobilise resources to provide high quality, affordable training in English language and vocational skills for local people to further their individual and national development. It has the professional objective to teach students the four aspects of the English language (reading, writing, speaking and listening) at a given level, enabling them to move confidently to higher levels term by term.
There are a number of vacancies for EFL teachers in two centres; two commencing August 2011 and three from January 2012.
Minimum teaching load is 12 hours a week of classroom instruction plus equivalent preparation time plus involvement in staff/student activities. Classes are mostly scheduled between 5 and 9 pm.
There is also need for an Administrator / Accountant, with the appropriate qualifications, to commence as soon as possible.
Requirements
• For teaching positions:
• CELTA certificate, or equivalent
• College / University qualifications in ESL or EFL
• Teaching experience and / or cross-cultural ministry involvement desirable
