Hospital and Prison Chaplains - North Australia

CMS recognises the imbalance of indigenous people in hospitals and prisons. In consultation with dioceses and para-church organisations CMS will support the indigenous church by placing mission personnel into chaplaincy roles that will nurture and disciple indigenous people. These positions would mainly exist in urban centres though not necessarily in major cities.

Educational opportunities for children may be limited dependant upon location.


CMS is looking for people with
• at least one year of Bible training
• experience in chaplaincy and/or indigenous ministry
• a love for Jesus
• a servant heart
• passion for mission
• a willingness to serve long-term
• openness to God's leading
