Camping ministry worker

TEAM Taiwan is establishing a camping ministry to reach young people for Christ and is looking for people to help develop Christian camping programs that are evangelistic, disciple young people, and develop young Christian leaders.

Requirements

• For long-term ministry, Mandarin Chinese is required. A minimum of two years full-time study is usually necessary.
• Language requirements would be discussed with short-term workers.
• Previous youth camping experience is desirable, though possibly other experience working with youth, counseling, or program development.
• Helpful areas of expertise could include program design and implementation, facility design and maintenance, experiential education, adventure education, sports ministries. Formal training in any of these areas would be a plus.
• Willingness to “do anything” helpful.
