Tarija, the ‘City of Smiles’, is a small city in the south of Bolivia. Locals are proud of their adherence to traditional Roman Catholic festivals. Increasingly large numbers of rural workers are migrating into rough settlements around the city.

Andrew and Paulina work with the Anglican Church of Bolivia, training leaders using Preliminary Theological Certificate materials from MOCLAM (an organisation affiliated with Sydney's Moore College). Personal discipleship is the core of their ministry. They also help local leaders to care for a poor but growing settlement congregation.
