Ngukurr

Ngukurr is an Aboriginal community on the Roper River in South East Arnhem Land. It is home to around 2500 people from eight main language groups, but the first language of most people is Kriol.

Peter and Lyndy’s major focus is on training people for ministry and producing Kriol Bible ministry resources for use in the many Kriol-speaking communities across the Northern Territory. They are also keen to see youth leaders trained and ongoing biblical youth ministries established. Being based in Ngukurr means they spend some of their time working under the local church leaders, the Revd Andrew and the Revd Carol Robertson.
