Xavier and Libby Lukins
Paris
France is hardened to the gospel following 200 years of secularism. Ten per cent of France is Muslim, the highest percentage of all western European countries. Forty-five per cent of French people aged 18 to 25 are self-confessed atheists. With a population of around 12 million, the capital, Paris, is a busy metropolis, a marketplace of conflicting ideas and ideologies.
Xavier and Libby Lukins are serving in a congregation in Viry Châtillon, in the southern suburbs of Paris. Xavier is the pastor. Together they are building up God’s Church through the preaching and teaching of his word.
