Elisabeth (Libby) Leach
Paris
France is hardened to the gospel following 200 years of secularism. Forty-five per cent of French people aged 18 to 25 are self-confessed atheists. With a population of around 12 million, the capital, Paris, is a busy metropolis, a marketplace of conflicting ideas and ideologies.
Association des Groupes Bibliques Universitaires de France (GBU)
The GBU was one of the founding members of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) and is currently in the midst of a period of sustained growth and development.
Libby works with the GBU, challenging students in Paris to consider the claims of Jesus and encouraging and equipping Christian students to teach the Bible and share their faith.
