Florence is the ‘re-birthplace’ of humanism and the beautiful, religious-veneered cradle of God-less culture. Florentines search for the divine through beauty but ignore the eternal magnificence of the God, man and Saviour, Jesus.

Gruppi Biblici Universitari (GBU)

The GBU is affiliated with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). There are around 200 students in GBU groups across 15 Italian cities.

Andrew and Sarah’s goal is to work with local Christian university students to help them proclaim Christ to their friends. As a family, the Lubbocks pray and witness to Jesus in their neighbourhood and school community.
