Oyumino

Oyumino is in the southern part of Chiba city, 40 kilometres east of Tokyo. The area was originally mountains and farmland and over the last 20 years has been developed predominantly as a dormitory suburb of Tokyo.

Karen participates in the outreach and ministry of Oyumino Christ Church - a church-planting ministry that has established churches in the suburbs of Oyumino, Honda and Toke - by serving at Toke Chapel (a recent church plant), leading evangelistic Bible studies in the wider Oyumino church, and encouraging and training Christian women through Bible study.
