Windhoek is a well-serviced modern city of 230,000 people, situated right in the middle of Namibia, one of the least densely populated and most ruggedly beautiful countries in the world. Namibia gained independence from South Africa in 1990, but still bears significant scars of racial mistrust and prejudice.

Namibia Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS)

NETS is an interdenominational college that trains Christian leaders for Namibia and surrounding countries. It offers various certificate, diploma and degree level courses. Simon and Margie Gillham have been on the staff teaching at NETS since 2008.
