Fast paced and culturally diverse, Johannesburg is the economic capital of South Africa. It is seen as a city of hope but there is great disparity in wealth, bringing many social problems. Poverty, HIV/AIDS and unemployment affect many people.

Mark and Carol Grieve work with students at the University of Johannesburg and have a ministry among the homeless youth of Johannesburg.
