Iringa
The Diocese of Ruaha is situated in the southern highlands of Tanzania. Iringa, a fast-growing market and university town, is at its centre.
Amani Christian Training Centre
Amani Christian Training Centre (Amani CTC) is the centre for all theological education in the Anglican Diocese of Ruaha. It aims to equip leaders for the Anglican Church (both pastors and evangelists), strengthen the spiritual life of the Church and build self-reliance through vocational training (computing, sewing and carpentry).
Ian teaches and serves as Academic Dean at Amani CTC, training pastors and evangelists. Fiona, a trained architect, advises on the many building projects in the Diocese. She is currently involved in a major solar power initiative in rural communities called Watu na Nuru (‘Light for the People’).They are both part of the Interdenominational Fellowship that ministers predominantly to expatriates in the area.
