David and Alisan Greeff

Missionary From Queensland with Northern NSW
Location: Namibia

WALVIS BAY

Walvis Bay is the major port town of Namibia, and the largest town in the Erongo region. Together with Swakopmund, it is the growth centre of Namibia because of the uranium mines that are opening. Soon Namibia will be the largest uranium producer in the world. Property prices are soaring, and so is the population!

David works in the Namibian Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS)'s Department of Distance Education as a coordinator of theological study groups. Having replaced him with two Namibian coordinators in the north, the DDE hopes that David will be able to start study groups in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, as well as assisting students in local prisons. Alisan teaches the Bible to women in prison and helps with various tasks for NETS.
