Cross-Cultural Training

Cross-cultural training is important locally and globally.

If you are thinking about working cross-culturally overseas and want to try it out, here are some opportunities you might consider.

Go! Explore Trips

Go! Explore trips are a great way to get exposed to mission, investigate what mission looks like in a different part of the world, and consider what your role in this mission might be.

Typically they are 3-4 week trips, working with a team in a location overseas alongside gospel workers.

For information on upcoming trips, please contact .

Seriously Interested in Mission Groups

Seriously Interested in Mission (SIIM) Groups are made up of a series of groups across Melbourne, hosted by returned cross-cultural missionaries, designed to support those who are interested in or already on the path to cross-cultural mission.

Find out more about SIIM groups here.

MENTAC stands for Mentoring Across Cultures, and is part of CMS Victoria’s training for those who are asking the question “Is long-term, cross-cultural gospel work for me?”

It includes practical ministry experience, training and mentoring. MENTAC is flexible – whether fitting around a full time work load, or a few days a week. There is an application process.

Find out more about MENTAC here.
