About MIST:
MIST (Missions Interlink Short-term Training) is an interactive course which introduces some of the significant issues relating to life, work and Christian faith as a Short-termer serving in a cross-cultural setting.
MIST covers the following areas:
- The biblical basis for mission
- Having realistic expectations
- Culture shock and adjustment
- Knowing yourself
- Knowing your location/host culture
- Sharing your faith
- Health and well being
- Authority issues
- Cross-cultural communication
- Dealing with conflict
- Spirituality and spiritual warfare
- Packing and other practicalities
- Re-entry to your home culture
